Deborah Bakos

Disparate, geometric forms seeking equilibrium are prominent in Deborah Bakos' minimalist, abstract paintings. Conjuring both spiritual and temporal metaphors, much of her work employs geometric shapes, circles representing the dynamic, cyclical nature of human evolution, while squares refer to the solid, earthy ways in which we often ground ourselves. There are ephemeral figures in her work as well... gestural strokes that are mere hints of moments lived. Visit the site below to learn more...

Riti Batra

This emerging artist and a photographer explores the world of abstract art through painting, photography, and mixed media.

"Painting for me is a medium that allows me to reclaim that which gets eroded by everyday life. The process of painting creates a zone which bridges the gap between what is visible and what lies beyond the obvious. Between these two zones infinite possibilities exist and it is in that space where art happens to me." Visit the site below to learn more...

Aurelia Bizouard

Glass is entirely part of my artistic journey. Using glass as a material was at first a mistake AND appealed to me right away: it was a revelation WHEN ONE DAY I broke a PICTURE frame. I decided to use the part of the glass which remained intact as a canvas. Since then, glass has become part of my everyday life and helps me to create all my artistic desires through intuitive and action painting. It is a practice I call GLASSISM. Jordan Blackstone

Who am I? I’m a Photographer who loves to paint and a painter who loves photography. Growing up in Alberta, I was surrounded by the wild beauty of the prairies and the ruggedness of the Rockies. With these as my backyard, they have influenced my style and given me a strong appreciation for the raw beauty of the life around me. Don’t try to fit me into a particular genre for I am constantly growing and learning. While wildlife and nature are my main focal points, I also enjoy working on portraits and graphic design. Each one presents its own unique challenges. Visit the site below to learn more...

Wim Blom

Wim Blom has a unique realistic style. His pictures appear straightforward and sincere, with unassuming subject matter and solid planes of background colour. There is no use of photographic language like cropping or depth of field, no reflections or colour casting. The point of view is level with the tops of pitchers, bowls and cups, giving them a smooth, designed look. Even the colours are subdued. It is very cool work, very methodical – a clean architecture of simple objects on simple grounds that radiate a sense of timelessness. Visit the site below to learn more...
