Michael Abraham

Undoubtedly one of Vancouver’s most original and unique contemporary artists, Michael Abraham has had numerous accolades and one-man exhibitions, and has been interviewed on CBC and Vancouver Television. His paintings have been featured in Common Ground magazine, Vancouver Symphony’s Allegro, on the promotional material for the Vancouver Opera Society’s 2008- 2009 season. Abraham’s original oil paintings are in collections from London to Singapore, and Philadelphia to Amsterdam, with work in the Vancouver Art Gallery, The Rockford Art Museum, in Illinois, and in numerous corporate, public and private collections. Justine Andrew

The vividness and boldness of line practiced by pop movement non-traditionalists, such as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein, provided inspiration for Justine’s early works. She soon evolved her own personal iconography from that exposure. Over the years, her style has evolved to what she now refers to as “a cross between organic creation and synthetic production”.
